Summer Time

'Summer Time' painting represents reverse Yin-Yang as a symbol of matriarchal society.

Opposite to the well know Yin-Yang concept, where dominant, sunny and white is associated with masculinity and passive, dark and cloudy is associated with femininity, the ‘Summer Time’ is build around the female hero, who is giving a helping hand to a male, to get him out of cloudy and moonlit Sky back to the Earth lit by the Sun.

The circle of the Sun evolving to the Moon and back as well as the circle of water surrounding female and male hands symbolise eternal circles of evolution of night to day, of Summer to Winter and back, complementing woman’s and man’s origins. This reverse world is based on sunny and lighted powerful woman, who is supporting dependent, lost and full of troubles man. They are opposite, but yet amplifying each other.
